Picky Band

For the release of Binyah's 3rd? CD, we wanted to do something special. A trendy thing to do on audio CD's at the time was to make "Enhanced CD's" these would work as normal audio CD's but if you put them into the computer, you could access special bonus features, like music videos. I had been playing around with a program crazy talk, that would animate still photos, to an audio recording. It was really cool, and I figured it would be an easy way to do lip syncing for animation. So, we just recorded a random conversation, and I got to work. I was really happy with the final outcome. I think the facial expressions are just absolutely hilarious. I always wanted to make more, but never did. The crazy talk software, as it got updated, kinda got worse. But I also did really have the patients to figure out how to get it to work the way I want, and my excitement for it fizzled out. There have been several occasions where I would start gearing up to get in to animation, but I quickly loos interest and never follow through. Maybe one day. In the meantime, enjoy Picky Band.
